What is Alpha-tocopherol?
The most biologically active form of vitamin E, either extracted from plants or synthesised. Added to oils, margarine, baked goods, infant formula, and supplements.
What does it do to the body?
Acts as both an antioxidant in food and an essential vitamin in your body. Very high supplement doses can interfere with blood clotting, but food-level use is well below that.
